Doing acts for Jesus
Stepping out and doing acts for Jesus can sometimes be daunting but this did not deter Mary who washed Jesus' feet with perfume and her hair showing a humble spirit and this was to bear fruit.

I want to see
In the same way that Bartimaeus threw off his cloak and was able to see because of Jesus healing, Steph is saying we should also let go of those things that are familiar to us so that we can see and follow Jesus.

Martha and Mary
Steph describes the snacks she bought this morning ...... but forgot the most important thing! As we reflect on the passage about Martha and Mary do we sometimes forget to spend time in God's presence? Steph challenge to herself and us is to make time this week to be in God's presence and listen to His voice.
